Hitler delivers a speech in which he promises to restore "family ... honor and loyalty, Volk and Vaterland, culture and economy" and recover "the eternal foundation of our morality and our faith." Hitler further declares a "merciless war against spiritual, political, and cultural nihilism."
References to Volk necessarily exclude Jews because they are defined as not being truly part of the German people. The phrase "cultural nihilism" is typically used to refer to political ideologies attributed to Jews: socialism, communism, Bolshevism, liberalism, etc.
Hitler further promises that members of his new government will "preserve and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built up." The Nazis regard Christianity as the "foundation of our national morality and the family as the basis of national life."
